How It All Began
From Mary's own words, "When I was introduced to Brainspotting, I was at a crossroads in my life and it became apparent that I was the last to know JUST HOW PIVOTAL... THIS particular Crossroads was! I was a successful RN and an extremely hard worker who had an amazing husband and family! I persevered through my own personal trials over the years and had accomplished so much from where I had started. So... WHY? What was this feeling of un-satisfaction? Why did I feel like I just KNEW there was something MORE? Although I've always appreciated my on-spot intuition, I still couldn't quite put my finger on WHAT it was I wanted more of and WHY?
I did know this... that there MUST be MORE to Life than THIS! Some of our lives seem like a dream to some, but for those of us that are blessed to have this gift of KNOWING there is MORE... we KNOW deep down somewhere... that there MUST be MORE! Another level of Happiness and TRUE FREEDOM. It becomes even more seemingly tangible when we can see it but we can't quite grasp it as it begins to appear in our visions... BUT we haven't yet figured out how to place it within our grasps! Let's not give up! IT IS RIGHT THERE!
Although I myself can be a skeptic, I was immediately drawn to WHATEVER this PROGRESS was that I began to make after I began this 'wild and weird' journey of Brainspotting! So many of us have old wounds and a history of trauma that have hugely impacted the way that we think, behave and even feel about ourselves and the environment in which we live. Did you know that where we look affects how we feel? I didn't either! The mind-body connection combined with eye position and the knowledge that we already hold within each of us, can help us overcome negative thought patterns and behaviors which have likely been the very things that continue to hold us back from becoming our most authentic selves!"
Our Mission
Hall Holistic Healing is dedicated to providing compassionate holistic Brainspotting services to individuals who simply seek MORE! Trauma such as fear can literally hold us back from discovering and then ultimately unleashing our true selves. Many of us hold onto this baggage for years, not even realizing that the walls we've built around us that were intended to protect us all these years, are also the very walls that have been keeping us from becoming THE BEST version of ourselves.
Life happens to us ALL! The life cycle of a leaf, from flush until fall, presents a microcosm of birth, youth, old age, and death. As humans, we too experience this literally as well as figuratively when we are able to experience the beauty of letting go of that which no longer serves us.
If you find yourself wanting more, or even just wondering, "Isn't there more to life than 'just this?'" You're right! There IS more! And evidence-based research combined with personal testimonies are showing that the negative coping mechanisms and false beliefs that many of us have unknowingly developed over the years, can often be the very culprit as to WHY we feel unfulfilled, unsatisfied, depressed and even what some have often described as a lost soul.
Our mission!? To help people UNLOCK their FULLEST POTENTIAL through the power of Brainspotting! Many of us have been asleep for some time... Covid likely exacerbated those symptoms that were already bringing us down. So what do we do now? Continue sleepwalking? Do we REALLY want to go out of this world ASLEEP!? And what if we're asleep and living in misery? Even worse! We are NOT promised tomorrow! In a world that appears to be falling apart at times, we need MORE Joy, MORE Positivity, MORE Love, MORE Charity, MORE Generosity. So, are we going to be part of the problem or part of the solution? You get to decide! That's the beauty! WE GET TO decide what we're going to do with the rest of our lives!
About Mary
Mary has been a Registered Nurse for over 24 years working inpatient hospital bedside nursing in the psychiatric and medical field. She has seen first hand, personally and professionally: the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual harm that occurs to us when we hold onto toxic thoughts, beliefs and behaviors. She is dedicated to providing personalized care to each of her clients and is also committed to frequent and ongoing trainings and education to stay up-to-date on the latest research and techniques. Mary is currently enrolled in Master's Level courses as she works toward becoming a Nurse Practitioner with a passion for Holistic and Functional Integrative Medicine. Mary has extensive mental health and psychiatric experience and and is intuitively skilled in being able to hold this precious space for you as she helps you create positive change in your own life!
Brainspotting Trainings Include:
Phase I; Phase II; Brainspotting, Spirituality & Intuition
She has traveled to Costa Rica and Peru in South America to learn about native medicinal plants and expand her knowledge in global holistic health.
Mary is also passionate about Mission Trips to underprivileged areas all over the world and had the privilege of traveling to The Dominican Republic in 2019 with her church to bring love, hope and help to a village, building latrines.
